Brando Tupaz began his career in mental health counseling in the early 1990’s. He studied psychology and nutrition at The Ohio State University. He earned his Master’s degree from John Carroll University. The University of Akron provided his doctoral training and education. His clinical practice includes working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of mental health conditions, treating dysfunctional family dynamics, couples counseling, and parent coaching. He also serves as a mental health consultant for various school districts. He is currently in his 14th year as adjunct faculty at John Carroll University teaching courses in Play Therapy, Family Therapy, Clinical Diagnosis, Counseling Children, and Sport Psychology in addition to supervising Counselor Trainees.
