Adam has worked with children and adolescents in the mental health field for over a decade. He received his master’s degree in mental health at Boston College and is currently working toward his psychology doctorate at Cleveland State University. His skills have been refined by numerous training sites that focus on a range of psychotherapeutic treatments and mental health disorders, including: anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem and career readiness skills, alcohol and drug rehabilitation, acute based trauma, crisis intervention work, as well as others.
Adam has presented his psychological research on issues impacting urban youth at national conferences, peer reviewed journals, and in graduate training textbooks. He is a faculty member at Northeast Ohio Medical School and has previously worked at Cleveland State University’s clinical mental health counseling program. Adam’s skills, focus and determination as a clinician make him a proud addition to the Jay Berk counseling family.
